KEMET C0G Commercial Grade 10VDC to 250VDC Surface-Mount Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (SMD MLCCs) feature a 125°C maximum operating temperature and are considered stable. These MLCCs feature a Class I material that exhibits no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage. KEMET C0G Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs offer a negligible change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±30ppm/°C from -55°C to +125°C. These temperature-compensating MLCCs are ideal for resonant circuit applications or those where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are required.

Commercial Grade Class I Dielectric ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Commercial Grade Class I Dielectric SMD ≤250V MLCCs feature a 125°C maximum operating temperature and are considered stable. These capacitors feature a Class I material that exhibits no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage. This series also boasts a negligible change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±30ppm/ºC from -55°C to +125°C. These KEMET temperature-compensating MLCCs are ideal for resonant circuit applications or those where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are required. The lineup includes AEC-Q200-qualified capacitors.

Flexible Mitigation Surface Mount ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Flexible Mitigation Surface Mount ≤250V MLCCs are solutions designed to reduce the risk of flex cracks. These solutions include the following: Flexible Termination (FT-CAP), Floating Electrode (FE-CAP), and Open Mode (FO-CAP) Technology. 

C0G Flexible Termination Capacitors

KEMET C0G Flexible Termination (FT-CAP) Capacitors provide superior flex performance up to 5mm, a capacitance range from 1pF to 0.47µF, and a voltage range from 16VDC to 250VDC. These multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) utilize a unique, flexible termination system that is integrated with KEMET's standard termination materials. This flexible termination technology combats flex cracking, which is the primary failure mode of MLCCs. Flexible termination technology directs board flex stress away from the ceramic body and into the termination area, mitigating flex cracks that can lead to low IR and short circuit failures. These flex-robust devices are RoHS-compliant and exhibit no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage.

High CV Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs)

KEMET High CV Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are a preferred capacitance solution, offering tremendous performance, reliability, and cost advantages for circuit designers. Ceramics are non-polar devices that offer unsurpassed volumetric efficiency, delivering high capacitance in small package sizes. Available in a wide range of sizes, KEMET High CV MLCCs offer very low equivalent series resistance (ESR), exhibit excellent high-frequency characteristics, and are very reliable. MLCCs are monolithic devices that consist of laminated layers of specially formulated ceramic dielectric materials interspersed with a metal electrode system. The layered formation is then fired at a high temperature to produce a sintered and volumetrically efficient capacitance device. A conductive termination barrier system is integrated into the exposed ends of the chip to complete the connection. 

Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs offer a wide variety of dielectrics, case sizes, voltages, and capacitance values, giving designers solutions for every possible application. These MLCCs are available in C0G, U2J, X7R, X5R, Y5V, and Z5U dielectrics with capacitance values up to 100uF and case sizes ranging from EIA 0201 to 2225. These capacitors are Lead (Pb)-free, RoHS, and REACH compliant without exemption.
