NHD-3.5-320240JF 3.5" IPS TFT Display

Newhaven Display NHD-3.5-320240JF 3.5" 320x240 Resolution IPS TFT Display includes IPS technology which delivers enhanced color reproduction, better image consistency, sunlight readable capabilities with high brightness backlight, and boasts superior optical characteristics at any angle. This 24-bit true color Liquid Crystal Display also includes a better FPC design with EMI shielding on the cable. Each device has a built-in ST7272A IC driver (except the NHD-3.5-320240FT-CSXP-T) and offers the same mechanical footprint and pinout as the TN display. These are all RoHS compliant.

TFT Displays & Modules

Newhaven Display TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Displays and Modules deliver full-color, high-resolution visual performance engineered for modern embedded systems. These displays include TN and IPS technology options, with IPS panels offering wide viewing angles, enhanced color accuracy, and improved outdoor readability. The TFT displays offer touchscreen options, including resistive and capacitive touch panels. These displays are available in sizes ranging from 1.5in to 10.1in, including square, round, and bar-type formats. Typical applications include industrial control systems, medical devices, consumer electronics, IoT dashboards, POS terminals, automotive/transportation, and controls/HVAC/security.

Mountable TFT LCD Modules

Newhaven Display Mountable TFT LCD Modules are available in 3.5", 4.3", 5", 7", and 10" variants with a resolution of 1024 x 600, 320 x 240, 480 x 272, or 800 x 480. These LCD modules provide a white LED backlight, a 24-bit RGB interface, and capacitive/resistive touch panels. The modules with a capacitive touch panel and controller feature 10-point multi-touch input and gesture input (zoom in/out and swipe up/down/left/right). The series includes high-brightness and sunlight-readable versions. Newhaven Display Mountable TFT LCD Modules have a 3.3V or 3.3V to 5V supply voltage and operate in a -20°C to +70°C temperature range.

IPS technology TFT Displays

Newhaven Display IPS technology TFT Displays deliver a balanced solution combining enhanced visual performance with long‑term reliability. These displays offer superior viewing angle stability compared to standard TN technology, typically supporting wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles. The IPS technology TFT displays offer improved color accuracy, making them suitable for graphical interfaces, data visualization, and applications that require consistent image quality. These IPS TFT displays feature high-luminance backlights, making them inherently sunlight-readable. Typical applications include industrial HMIs, medical diagnostic equipment, laboratory instrumentation, and embedded systems requiring high readability and color consistency.
