MKT1820 DC Film Capacitors

Vishay / Roederstein MKT1820 DC Film Capacitors are polyester film AEC-Q200-qualified, high-temperature radial potted-type capacitors. They offer low-voltage DC-Link with high-temperature capabilities of up to 150°C. Vishay / Roederstein MKT1820 DC Film Capacitors are mono- and series-constructed and available in a 1000pF to 560μF capacitance range. Typical applications include automotive, DC filtering, and low-voltage DC-link.

Film Capacitors

Vishay Film Capacitors are high-performance capacitors that use a thin plastic film as the dielectric material, offering exceptional stability, low loss, and reliability in various electronic applications. These capacitors are widely used in consumer and industrial electronics due to excellent electrical characteristics, such as low equivalent series resistance (ESR), high insulation resistance, and high dielectric strength. The DC-link capacitors feature high voltage, self-healing technology, high pulse capability, lifetime over 100,000 hours, and stable performance across the temperature spectrum. These capacitors store and deliver energy for DC/AC converters ensuring proper modulation. Typical applications include UPS, solar inverters, motor drives, and onboard chargers.
