ESD Protection Solutions

Littelfuse produces varistors, suppressors, indicators, and more so users can find the right protection to ensure the long-term reliable operation of applications.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These diodes offer an ideal protection solution for I/O interfaces and digital and analog signal lines in computer and consumer portable electronics. Littelfuse TVS diodes offer a broader application use and improved impulse protection performance over conventional diodes.

AQ36CANA-02HTG Bidirectional TVS Diode

Littelfuse AQ36CANA-02HTG Bidirectional TVS Diode is AEC-Q101 qualified and fabricated in a proprietary silicon avalanche technology. The AQ36CANA-02HTG provides a high electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection level for electronic equipment. This diode has the ability to safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes of ±30kV without any performance degradation and can safely dissipate an 8A 8/20µs surge event. Littelfuse AQ36CANA-02HTG Bidirectional TVS Diode is suitable for ADAS control units, factory automation, electronic control units, powertrain control units, and automotive applications.
