Microchip PIC18-Q43 microcontrollers combine versatile and easy-to-use Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) with advanced interconnection capabilities to enable effortless sophisticated hardware customization. The CIPs enable the microcontroller to accomplish tasks in hardware while freeing up the CPU to focus on more complex system tasks or go to sleep to save power. This combination of peripherals simplifies the creation of customized hardware-based functions, improves system response and reduces the number of external components and code development time.
The PIC18-Q43 family is supported by the PIC18F57Q43 Curiosity Nano board, along with Microchip's MPLAB® X IDE and MPLAB Xpress IDE development environments and MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) — a free software plug-in that provides a graphical interface to configure peripherals and functions specific to an application.
