Advanced Illumination DF241 Small, Low-Angle Dark Field Rings are designed for even the most demanding surface inspection applications. These ring lights feature LEDs that are physically focused to a point in space, rather than utilizing a focused lens. The precision LED aiming produces a thin, uniform slice of light whose footprint on the target is quite small compared to the light head diameter. DF241 field rings from Advanced Illumination are ideal for use on flat, specular reflective surfaces that need the lowest angle of incidence to contrast minor surface defects, such as scratches or pits. To achieve the proper light geometry, this light head needs to be positioned no more than 25mm from the surface for optimal results.Features
