Diodes Incorporated MXQ Series Spread Spectrum Crystal Oscillators

Diodes Incorporated MXQ Series Spread Spectrum Crystal Oscillators are utilized in digital electronic systems to reduce Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI). The MXQ SSXOs implements proprietary PLL and Spread-Spectrum Clock Generator (SSCG) technology to synthesize from and modulate the frequency of the input crystal.

The Diodes Inc. MXQ Series measures radiated energy at fundamental and harmonic frequencies and reduces them to comply with Electro Magnetic Compliance (EMC) requirements. The internal factory-setting function facilitates flexible selection of output frequency, modulation rate, and spread ratios.

Several package options are available that differentiate the package:

MX71Q - 7.5mm x 5.0mm
MX51Q - 5.0mm x 3.2mm
MX31Q - 3.2mm x 2.5mm
MX21Q - 2.5mm x 2.0mm
MXIIQ   - 2.0mm x 1.6mm
