DISPLAY VISIONS DOGS104-A Display Modules & Backlights
DISPLAY VISIONS DOGS104-A Display Modules and Backlights provide a high-contrast LCD supertwist display operating on a low 3.3V without auxiliary power. The display and backlight are ordered separately, providing a wealth of possible combinations. The DOGS104-A Display Modules and Backlight are designed for compact hand-held devices and provide a range of benefits with or without backlighting.
DISPLAY VISIONS DOGS104-A Display Modules have a 2.54mm pitch and can be soldered directly or plugged into socket strips. Therefore, cumbersome gluing procedures, the need for designing a special mounting device, and error-prone cable connections that may lose contact are no longer a concern.
Three different LED Backlights (Amber, Yellow-Green/Red, and Green/Red/White) are also available, providing the user with a wide range of possible combinations.

- Optional LED backlight units in different colors
- 4x10 character with 2.6mm switchable to 2x10 with 4.55mm height
- SSD1803A controller for SPI (2-/3-/4-wire) and I2C (2-wire) interface
- Single power supply +3.3V (typically 440µA)
- No additional voltages required
- Operating temperature range -20°C through +70°C
- Led backlight 45mA @ 3.3V
- No mounting is required, simply solder into PCB
- 3 different character sets (Cyrillic, English, Japanese and European) included in the same controller
- 2 viewing directions possible (bottom and top view)
- RoHS, CE, and REACH compliant
