Infineon Technologies PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6L

Infineon Technologies PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6L offers an excellent user experience for infotainment systems with small and medium touchscreens. The device is a single die-based touchscreen controller, allowing screen sizes up to 8.5” for high-performance infotainment systems.

The Infineon PSOC Automotive Multitouch Gen6L delivers superior touch and electromagnetic immunity performance as per automotive standards. The CYAT8165X enables a faster refresh rate, supports the usage of thick gloves for operation, and provides water rejection and wet finger tracking. Additionally, the Gen6L technology permits low-power CapSense™ wake-up buttons. Gen6L includes a dedicated touchpad (CYAT7165X) and slider device (CYAT6165X), complementing the overall HMI portfolio.
