Infineon Technologies XDPE12284C-0000 XDP™ 8-Phase Dual Loop Digital Multiphase Controller offers power for Intel VR13, VR13HC, IMVP8, and IMVP9 server, workstation, and high-end desktop applications. The XDPE12284C-0000 has a flexible phase assignment between the two loops. This can be configured in various ways, including 8+0, 7+1, and 4+4.

The Infineon XDPE12284C-0000 Controller facilitates digital technology to control all functions, delivering the ultimate system solution in terms of flexibility and stability. The advanced control loop features Active Transient Response (ATR) modulation, and a fast DVID response provides an optimal response to high slew rate load transients. Programmable temperature compensation to the current sense allows the designer to tailor the response for the finest load line accuracy over temperature.

Furthermore, the XDPE12284C also advocates integrated power stages supplying combined current and temperature sense information.
