ROHM Semiconductor BD71815AGW Power Management IC

ROHM Semiconductor BD71815AGW Power Management IC (PMIC) is a single-chip power management solution ideal for battery-powered portable devices. The BD71815AGW combines 5 buck converters, 8 LDOs, a boost driver for LED, and a 500mA single-cell linear charger. The BD71815AGW PMIC also includes a real-time clock (RTC) and a 32kHz crystal oscillator. This PMIC also includes a Coulomb counter and a general-purpose output (GPO). The BD71815AGW PMIC buck converters supply power to the application processor. To maintain the highest efficiency over a wide range of current loads, PFM and PWM modes are supported by the converters. The BD71815AGW PMIC operates at a high switching frequency of 6MHz and incorporates Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) for the processor core regulator.

ROHM Semiconductor BD71815AGW PMIC is optimized for use in applications based on the NXP Semiconductors i.MX 7Solo and i.MX 7Dual Applications Processors.
