STMicroelectronics L98GD8 Automotive MOSFET Pre-Driver
STMicroelectronics L98GD8 Automotive MOSFET Pre-Driver is configurable for low-side, high-side, peak and hold, and H-bridge load control. This AEC-Q100 qualified pre-driver is designed to comply with the requirements of automotive passenger vehicles with 12V and 48V battery systems. The L98GD8 MOSFET pre-driver also complies with automotive commercial vehicles' 24V battery systems. This pre-driver's outputs can be PWM controlled, while six outputs are capable of driving safety-relevant loads. Each output provides full diagnostic information, such as short to battery, short to ground, and open-load. The L98GD8 MOSFET pre-driver can also drive up to two loads requiring a peak and hold control strategy. Typical applications include driving relays, motors, and all the resistive and inductive loads.
