Texas Instruments TL331/TL331B/TL391B/TL331B-Q1 Single Comparators provide outstanding value for cost-sensitive applications. These device's features include lower offset voltage, higher supply voltage capability, lower supply current, and lower input bias current. The TL331/TL331B/TL391B/TL331B-Q1 also includes lower propagation delay, wider temperature range, and improved 2kV ESD performance with drop-in replacement convenience. The Texas Instruments TL331B is a drop-in improved replacement for the TL331I and TL331K versions. The TL391B provides an alternate pinout of the TL331B to replace competitive devices.Operation from dual supplies is also possible if the difference between the two supplies is between 2V and 36V, and VCC is at least 1.5V more positive than the input common-mode voltage. The current drain is independent of the supply voltage. The outputs can be connected to other open-collector outputs to achieve wired-AND relationships. The TL331B-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. The TL331B-EP devices have gold bond wires, a temperature range of –55 to +105°C, and an SnPb lead finish.
