Vishay VEMD8082 Silicon PIN Photodiode

Vishay VEMD8082 Silicon PIN Photodiode is a high-speed and high-sensitive PIN photodiode with enhanced sensitivity for visible light. This low-profile Surface-Mount Device (SMD) houses a chip with a 6.0mm² radiant sensitive area that detects visible and near-infrared radiation. The VEMD8082 photodiode is available in 4.8mm x 2.5mm x 0.5mm dimensions. This silicon PIN photodiode features ±65° angle of half sensitivity (ϕ) and is suitable for visible and near-infrared radiation. Typical applications include wearables, health monitoring, and high-speed photodetectors.
