Jay Penske’s Dragon Racing Teams with Mouser Electronics to Sponsor 2015 – 2016 Formula E Season

October 15, 2015 - Mouser Electronics, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will partner with Jay Penske's Dragon Racing Formula E Team in the second season of the FIA Formula E all-electric car racing series that debuts Saturday, Oct. 24 in China.

The Mouser-backed Dragon Racing team boasts some considerable talent, including Loic Duval, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013, and European Formula Master Champion Jerome D'Ambrosio. Formula E is a new global racing series from Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body for world motor sports. Formula E features cars powered exclusively by electric energy and represents a vision for the future of the motor sports industry over the coming decades, serving as a framework for research and development around the electric vehicle, accelerating general interest in these cars and promoting sustainability.
