NXP Semiconductors SEN-GEN6-SKT Socket Evaluation Board
NXP Semiconductors SEN-GEN6-SKT Socket Evaluation Board enables evaluation of the FXLS9x and FXPS7x Automotive Sensors. The FXLS9x Sensor Series includes automotive safety digital accelerometers that are optimized for use in airbag impact detection systems. The FXPS7x Sensor Series includes analog and digital absolute pressure sensors ideal for many automotive applications such as manifold air pressure (MAP), comfort seating, and other applications requiring operating absolute pressure ranges up to 550kPa.
The NXP Semiconductors SEN-GEN6-SKT Socket Evaluation Board features a QFN16 socket designed to accept the FXLS9x and FXPS7x Sensors. Onboard jumpers enable the user to select the SPI, I2C, DSI3, or SI5 communication interface.
The SEN-GEN6-SKT is designed to work with an Electronic Control Unit (ECU), such as the SEN-SPI-BOX (not included). The SEN-GEN6-SKT has two dedicated interfaces suitable for SPI and I2C communications, an MDI connector, and a Beagle connector. The NXP MDI connector supports the SEN-SPI-BOX Kit. The Beagle connector is an industrial standard and may be coupled to any Beagle compatible analyzer.
