u-blox M2-MAYA-W1 Cards
u-blox M2-MAYA-W1 Cards offer the combined maximum performance of the MAYA-W1 Wi-Fi® 4 and BLUETOOTH® 5.2 connectivity module with the flexibility of an M.2 card. The M2-MAYA-W1 devices are based on the NXP IW416 multi-radio chipset and support all characteristics of the MAYA-W1 series modules while delivering data rates up to 150Mbit/s. With dual-band 2.4GHz / 5GHz and 40MHz channel width, these cards can work as Wi-Fi stations with different access points, such as a simple access point, P2P communication, or a combination of these. BLUETOOTH BR/EDR (classic) and the complete feature set of BLUETOOTH Low Energy 5 are supported on the devices.
The u-blox M2-MAYA-W1 Cards are host-based modules that require a host processor running either Linux or Android operating systems. Meanwhile, driver support for the NXP MCUXpresso SDK is also available. The cards connect to a host processor via SDIO (for Wi-Fi) and high-speed UART (for BLUETOOTH) interfaces. The MAYA-W1 modules featured on the card, like all u-blox modules, undergo comprehensive qualification tests to provide reliability over the lifetime. Each M.2 card is thoroughly tested before leaving the assembly line.
